Time and time again: Protect Izembek Wilderness!

One of the world's most critically-important resting places for migrating birds is found in the cold-water lagoons and internationally significant wetlands of Izembek National Wildlife Refuge on the Alaskan Peninsula.

We need your help to keep this globally significant wildlife refuge intact. A road is proposed through Izembek's protected Wilderness. The US Fish and Wildlife Service has begun a planning process to review the proposed land exchange and road project.

Thursday, May 3, 2012 - Anchorage at 7pm at the Campbell Creek Science Center
Monday, May 7 - Sand Point at 7pm at the council chambers
Tuesday, May 8 - Cold Bay at 7pm at the community center
Wednesday May 9 - Nelson Lagoon - 2pm at the community center
Wednesday May 9 - False Pass - 7pm at the Larsen Center
Thursday May 10 - King Cove - 6:30 pm at the multipurpose center
